The enclosing area of the first phase reclamation project of Oufei in Wenzhou City is 132,800 mu, the total length of the sea dike line is 36.66km, the north dike is 4.30km, the east dike is 28.85km, and the south dike is 3.51km. The project is a class I project. The main buildings, such as seawalls and sluices, are all Grade 1 buildings, and the moisture-proof standard is once in 100 years. In this project, 6 sluice gates are arranged, namely North 1# gate (10 holes×8m), North 2# gate (6 holes×8m+16m navigation hole), East 1# gate (3 holes×8m), East 2# Gates (5 holes×8m), South 1# gates (10 holes×8m), South 2# gates (6 holes×8m+16m navigation holes) are all soft foundation gates, with a total net width of 352m.

Xiepu Gate Station (Winding Hoist)

The Xiepu sluice station mainly includes a newly built 6-sluice gate with a total net width of 48 meters, and the designed maximum flow through the gate is 349 cubic meters per second, which is more than twice the average flow of Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou. The newly built pumping station uses 5 vertical shaft through-flow pumps, and the designed drainage flow is 250 cubic meters per second, which is currently the largest pumping station in the province. The design flow rate of a single unit is 50 cubic meters per second, which is the highest in the country. The drainage flow rate of the whole unit in less than 16 hours is equivalent to the water volume of a whole West Lake (the water volume of the West Lake is about 14 million cubic meters).

Benniu Junction (ship lock)

 

Project Overview >>>

The Benniu Water Control Project is one of the Xinmeng River Extension and Dredging Projects. It is located at the junction of the Xinmeng River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal in Benniu Town, Changzhou City. The main tasks of the project include flood control, drainage and navigation. The hub is mainly composed of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal interchange culvert, ship lock, control gate, management office, etc. The lock chamber size of the ship lock is 135×16×3.45 meters. The control gate is located on the east side of the Xinmeng River channel, and is a single-hole sluice with a gate width of 16 meters. The control lock chamber is arranged flush with the lock head of the side lock of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal. Both the lock head and the lock chamber of the ship lock adopt upper horizontal flat steel gates, and are equipped with hoisting hoists. The ground culvert of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal Interchange is arranged about 210 meters east of the entrance of the Xinmeng River into the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal. The design is a 12-hole 8×6.5 meters (width×height) cast-in-place reinforced concrete culvert with a total area of 618 square meters. The culvert on the north side of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal is equipped with a working gate and equipped with a hoist.
