Good News! — Aotuo Technology's Multiple PLC Models Pass Critical Testing for Network Devices
Release date:
2024-01-12
Network critical equipment refers to devices that support networking capabilities and boast superior performance among similar network devices. Typically serving as vital network nodes, these devices are installed in key locations or critical systems—where their compromise could potentially trigger significant cybersecurity issues.
According to the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China, network critical equipment must undergo mandatory safety certification by qualified institutions or meet stringent safety-testing requirements as stipulated in relevant national standards before being sold or provided. In 2017, the Cyberspace Administration of China, along with three other departments, jointly issued an announcement introducing the "Catalogue of Network Critical Equipment and Cybersecurity Dedicated Products (First Batch)," which explicitly includes routers, switches, servers, and PLC devices in the first batch of network critical equipment listed.

Recently, the 14th batch of critical network equipment—having passed mandatory safety inspections in accordance with the national standard "General Security Requirements for Network Critical Equipment" (GB40050-2021), as conducted by qualified institutions—has been officially announced. Among them, several models of PLC products from Aote Technology have been selected.
