2020-05-29
Recently, the Shenzhen Qianhai Tunnel Project successfully passed the preliminary acceptance of key projects organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Government. Meanwhile, Nanda Aotuo's full range of large, medium, and small programmable logic controllers has officially been implemented in Shenzhen Special Economic Zone!
The project is located underground beneath Guiwan 1st Road, Linhai Avenue, and Binhai Avenue in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone. The underground road is planned as a major urban arterial, featuring 6 to 8 lanes in each direction, with the main tunnel spanning approximately 2.897 km in length. The Qianhai section of Binhai Avenue is divided into two segments: Phase 1 of Guimiao Road in Qianhai and Phase 2 of Guimiao Road, both constructed to urban expressway standards. The main roadway includes six lanes in each direction, along with dedicated collector/distributor lanes. Specifically, the Qianhai segment of Phase 1 of Guimiao Road stretches about 580 meters, while Phase 2 covers roughly 540 meters.
According to reports, once completed, Shenzhen's Qianhai underground road will become the country's first underground transportation hub project—and also the underground road project with the highest design and construction standards in China.

Our company's independently developed NA series programmable controllers are primarily designed to centrally monitor and collect data from various electromechanical facilities within tunnels, including large axial-flow fans on ramps, left- and right-tube jet fans, rainwater pumps, sewage pumps, wind speed and direction sensors, carbon monoxide detectors, visibility sensors, and other critical equipment. At the tunnel monitoring center, we utilize the NA400 mid-to-large-scale PLC, paired with a hot-standby redundancy system solution that ensures power, CPU, and network redundancy—guaranteeing secure and reliable data acquisition from the field. On-site monitoring terminals mainly rely on the NA200H small PLC for collecting and monitoring data from equipment such as rainwater pumps, sewage pumps, hydrogen sulfide sensors, and ultrasonic level gauges. Meanwhile, the NA2000 small PLC is employed for devices like wind speed and direction sensors, as well as carbon monoxide and visibility sensors. The NA300 mid-sized PLC handles the monitoring of axial-flow and jet fans, along with equipment such as ammeters, multifunction meters, transformer temperature controllers, UPS systems, EPS units, and integrated metering devices. Moreover, in response to constantly changing environmental conditions, these systems can seamlessly integrate with other automation systems, enabling automatic control based on pre-defined parameter settings. This ensures the entire tunnel operates smoothly and safely at all times.
