High-Speed Rail Station BAS System Solution

Release date:

2020-03-27

The technical solution for the high-speed railway station's BAS system covers the public area ventilation and air-conditioning system, equipment management room ventilation and air-conditioning system, tunnel ventilation system, drainage system, power distribution and substations, escalator systems, chilled and heated water source systems, lighting systems, and more. Qingdao Tieke Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.'s automated control system employs a server/client architecture to centrally manage on-site mechanical and electrical equipment. This approach not only ensures optimal operational performance of the equipment itself but also enables optimized system control and energy-efficient operation across the entire facility. At the same time, it enhances property management efficiency, reduces operational costs, and ultimately achieves true energy conservation, environmental protection, and sustainability.

Application of PLC in the BAS System Solution for High-Speed Railway Stations

The high-speed rail station's BAS system is logically divided into three layers: the top layer is the central management level, the middle layer is the station control level, and the bottom layer is the field control level.

Central Management Team

The central management team is located in the control room of the main dispatch center, where the hardware consists of computers, network equipment, printing devices, and large-screen display systems. The software package includes the operating system, network management software, application software and maintenance platforms, integrated application software, a large-scale database, as well as several other auxiliary software tools.

Station Control Layer

The station control layer equipment is located in the station control room and primarily includes a monitoring workstation, redundant control PLCs, an IBP panel, network switches, printers, and more.

On-site Control Layer

On-site control layer devices are discretely distributed throughout the station at various monitoring or data acquisition points, including field control boxes, PLC controllers, diverse types of sensors, interface units, remote I/O modules, and actuators, among others.

The field control layer equipment primarily enables local monitoring and data acquisition. After collecting the data, it is transmitted to the next higher layer, allowing the central control layer to accurately analyze and process the information, before the field control devices execute the corresponding action mode switches.
