Application of NA200 in the UV Aging Test Chamber

Release date:

2020-04-07

A UV aging test chamber is a photochemical testing device designed to simulate exposure to light, primarily mimicking the ultraviolet rays found in sunlight. It can also replicate the damaging effects caused by rainwater and dew. The equipment works by subjecting the material under test to a controlled cycle of alternating sunlight and moisture, while simultaneously raising the temperature. The chamber uses UV fluorescent lamps to simulate sunlight, and moisture effects can be further replicated through either condensation or spray methods.

Software Design:

System software consists of two parts—PLC program and touchscreen program.

The PLC program completes the test process according to the time requirements set by the process.

The NA200 series PLC features scientifically and logically optimized programming, precisely controlling the relevant auxiliary components within the device to ensure stable and reliable operation, thereby meeting user requirements.

Touchscreen Design:

  • Touchscreen program: Main interface, parameter settings, operation scheduling, and fault alerts.

  • Main Interface: Displays the set and actual temperatures for illumination, as well as the set and actual temperatures for condensation. It also shows real-time progress of illumination, condensation, spray-on, spray-off statuses, and the total experiment duration.

  • Parameter Settings: Setting the temperature and test duration.

  • Operation Schedule: Set a specific future time; when the set time arrives, the experiment will automatically start.

  • Fault Alarm: Displays the system's fault information at the time.
