Many modern factories, warehouses, high-rise building construction and large gas stations use color steel tiles, even glazed tile color steel tiles, making these buildings vivid and beautiful. These colored steel tiles are all produced by a special tile press using colored steel plates. The color steel plate enters the tile pressing machine, and is pressed into various shapes by rollers of various shapes, and then cut into a fixed length by a cutter. If you need glazed tiles, you can also press them. In this way, a variety of colored steel tiles can be made.

With the high-quality NA200 series PLC, Nanda Automation Technology Co., Ltd. has cooperated with tile press manufacturers to develop various types of tile press control systems. The following introduces a glazed tile type tile press control system.

Process introduction

The glazed tile pressing machine is divided into three parts, roller forming part, pressing part and cutter part.

The forming part of the roller table is driven by the motor, and the chain drives each roller to rotate. The pressing part is that the hydraulic cylinder drives the mold to move up and down, which can press the color steel into many knots, like a glazed tile. The cutter part is driven by the hydraulic cylinder to move the cutter up and down, which can cut off the colored steel tiles.

The production process is as follows: the colored steel plate enters the forming section of the roller table, and after the forming, it is pressed to the molding section and pressed into equal distances one by one.

System Configuration

The execution part has a frequency converter drive motor, a hydraulic station motor, two hydraulic solenoid valves of the pressure type, and two hydraulic solenoid valves of the cutter.

The detection parts are:Pulse encoder to detect the length of color steel tile, press-type up and down travel switch, cutter up and down travel switch, press up and down operation button, knife up and down travel button, emergency stop switch, hydraulic start and stop switch, etc.

PLC selects CPU201-2402 of NA200 series. It has 14 inputs/10 relay outputs, which just meet the input and output requirements. Coupled with Nanda Automation text screen, you can complete parameter setting, alarm display, help information, production data display and so on.

The tile press must use the high-number pulse input function. CPU201-2402 has excellent high-speed input performance and strong anti-interference ability in phase AB. And use the fixed value interrupt function to ensure accuracy.

There are many parameters to be set in the tile press, which can be set with the text screen. There are two types of parameter settings: device parameters and user parameter settings. The equipment parameters are: single pulse length, overshoot, pressing distance, pressing time, cutting time and so on. User parameters are: number of sheets, length, first section, last section, pitch, number of sections, etc.

The control system of the glazed tile pressing machine can also complete the veneer cutting function.

Characteristics of the control system:

• The control system is simple to operate, and normal automatic production does not need to go back first, but advances once, presses the shape, and the cutting is completed.
• The precision is high, and the cutting precision of each piece is less than 0.1mm, which meets the process requirements.
