Features

Standard PROFIBUS-DP slave interface: DP-V0/V1 protocol, in line with IEC61158 and Chinese national standard GB/T20540-2006: Fieldbus for measurement and control of digital data communication industrial control system Part 3

The baud rate can be set, the maximum baud rate is 12M.

Up to 30 slave stations can be connected on the Profibus bus.

Maximum expansion I/O module: 32-point DI/32-point DO module ≤32 blocks; 16-point AI module ≤7 blocks; 4-point AO module ≤7 blocks.

Intelligent module, powerful self-diagnosis function, the module can automatically reset and restart the unique data safety output function when the module fails, so that the control device has a higher safety function.

Comprehensive LED indicators: comprehensive LED indications of power supply, module activation, module operation, fault, PROFIBUS bus operation and fault.

Support hot swap.

Module hardware settings and external interfaces

1. DP slave address coding switch

The module provides two decimal rotary coding switches S1 and S2, DP slave address = S1*1+S2*10, which needs to be set correctly before power on.

2. Two-digit DIP switches K1 and K2

K1: The system is reserved for updating firmware. Before the module is powered on, please confirm that K1 is in the OFF position.

K2: Optional switch for the 120-ohm terminal resistance of the bus cable. The OFF position indicates that the terminal resistance is not connected, and the ON position indicates that the terminal resistance is connected.

3. DP communication interface

DP-S: Standard SUBDB9 Female interface, the interface lead definition is shown in the following table:

Due to physical and electrical performance limitations, the maximum number of modules that can be connected to the Profibus bus is 30. Please pay attention to this limitation when configuring. If the number of slave stations must be greater than 30, please add profibus relay equipment.
